BOO!
Wishing you all a very happy Star Wars Halloween! Will kept his costume a secret from friends and teachers, he really loves the element of surprise. He traipsed all over the neighborhood with Dad in his Vader costume, feeling very stealthy. We had to modify his wardrobe midway through the evening, since he forgot to put on socks with his Wellingtons. After that, Vader wore tennies. Joseph the Storm Trooper (he had a mask to match his costume, but even after Dad tweaked it to fit he said it "smudged" his nose too much and it also meant he couldn't wear his glasses) agreed to trick-or-treat for three houses, then he called it a night. We don't know if it was because of his moratorium on "fun food" or just the general spookiness of the night. . . doesn't matter. He defended his house from all small costumed intruders by standing on the sidewalk with his Nerf gun, and helped Mommy pass out candy. The weather was Texas perfect in the 70's. It was a memorable night.

So cute! I mean, cool. Tell the boys I said "COOL". We speak Star Wars in this house, too.
