July 4th weekend.

We spent most of the holiday weekend with my family in Beeville. It's pretty hard not to relax beside this country pool.

Once we were back in San Antonio, the boys made birthday cards for in honor of Independence Day.

Later in the evening, we drove the boys out to see the City of Schertz's fireworks. They stood outside the car in their matching pajamas and Crocs and asked us a zillion questions about fireworks and creation and the universe and the stars and then they clapped and cheered at the top of their lungs at the explosion of light in the sky.
