My sweet boy.

Joseph and Mommy have some special time together while big brother is in school. On this, the first warm day of March, we enjoyed a picnic in the yard, followed by some lounging on a blanket in the sun. Joseph and I have become very attached to each other. He has such a happy heart, and has become far more affectionate than he was as a toddler. He often stops what he is doing to tell us he loves us. He is inquisitive and imaginative. Today he asked me if a tornado could pick up a house, and if you could stop one with a sharp watergun. He expects an answer to every question, and "I really don't know, Joseph" does not satisfy him. He would spend all day outside if you would let him. I often find snail shells and acorns and small rocks in the washing machine--spoils from his afternoon adventures.

Such a sweet little post! I love these young, curious years and the questions that come..well, mostly.
