Trick or treat!

Speed. I am speed. If you haven't heard that, it is Lightning McQueen's mantra from the movie Cars. Lines from that movie punctuate our lives daily. Will often insists that I call him "Chick Hicks", and Joseph wants to be called "Mr. The King". If you know the movie, you are laughing as you are reading this. So, our train phase is over, and we are onto more muscle-y things like motorcycles and racecars. Will's costume this year is a pitcrew member for Lightning McQueen. Joseph's costume is pretty unoriginal, I know, but it's what he requested--a pumpkin. He fusses about wardrobe changes, and it was a warm night, so simplicity ruled with his costume. But, it got him some candy, which was the objective. Anybody else see kids dressed as Michael Phelps? We had two teenagers in speedos and swimcaps walking the neighborhood. For those of you who aren't from Texas, yes, it was warm enough to wear your speedo after dark around here. Clearly, the most brave costume on the block (read between the lines, I hope my sons don't trick or treat in speedos one day).
