Wisconsin Winter Wonderland.

We had a very white Christmas in central Wisconsin! Here is the boys' first ever playtime in the snow. Joseph really fussed at me while I dressed him in his snow gear, the boots were particularly upsetting. But he recovered, once he stepped outside.

What you don't see is the face plant that happened seconds before this picture was taken. Joseph stayed face down and motionless in the snow until Daddy jerked him out by his coat, then the wailing began. Once Mommy recovered from laughing, this picture was snapped. That's Grandma in the right-sided background, she had just returned from building Will his first snowman!

Here, Will is giving Joseph the particulars on snowball-making. Joseph had had enough of the snow, he was still in shock from the face plant. But, he enjoyed stomping in the puddles in Grandma's driveway, and watching snowballs crash nearby. Daddy enjoyed firing those icy torpedoes at Mommy. Sigh. Snow brings out the kid in all of us!
