The "rated G" pumpkin patch.

At this time last year, we went to our favorite nursery called Milberger's for our pumpkin patch pictures, where they had a great pumpkin and gourd display. This year the nursery kicked it up a notch, and added witches, bats, spider webs, and a spooky cool hay maze. One look was all it took, and I left holding a shaking and crying Will. "I'm not going back to Milberger's, Mommy. Let's buy our flowers somewhere else," he said. Poor guy. So off we went to a nice, tame, church-hosted pumpkin patch. but here's the ironic thing. Will says he's scared of ghosts (and won't even go outside after dark because he thinks the clouds in the night sky look like ghosts), but his imaginary friend is a ghost named Mr. Fezzo. Go figure!

So glad you found a less scary place and Will didn't have to see that Man in the store!
