July 4th up north!

We spent the week with our Helmrick family in Wisconsin, and brought back with us many happy memories. Eating bratwursts by Uncle Ken and Aunt Linda's pool (the boys loved them, but hold the sauerkraut and heavy on the ketchup, please), nice long walks on the shady streets of Almond (where Kevin was raised), attending a family reunion, cruising the Wisconsin River in Uncle Keith and Aunt Jane's boat, celebrating Independence Day with Will's first sparkler (compliments of Grandma), and of course, lots and lots and lots of great family time.
