Spring bluebonnets.

For you folks who may not know, the bluebonnet is the Texas state flower, and Texans await the arrival of this pretty blue bloom every spring. We are having a wonderfully wet spring in south central Texas, which means a great crop of bluebonnets! It is a tradition to sit your kids down in a field of flowers and take a bazillion pictures. So that is exactly what I did! The boys and I found this great little patch on a warm March morning just a five minute walk from our home. Springtime in Texas, it's hard to beat.
